Indian Mujahideen Behind the Patna Serial Blast in BJP’s rally


[India TV News] Tehseen Akhtar, the right hand of arrested Indian Mujahideen (IM) founder leader Yasin Bhatkal, has emerged as the mastermind of Patna serial blasts.Patna-serial-bl13195

It was revealed during the Police interrogation of the person arrested just after the blasts took place at Patna railway station. The parrested person was trying to run away from the spot when he was caught by the Police.

The arrested person is a relative of Tehseen Akhtar. Tehseen Akhtar is the mastermind of Bodh Gaya blasts as well.

According to police sources, there is a possibility of Tehseen Akhtar being present at the blast site today.

According to sources, the Ranchi Module of IM is believed to be behind these blasts.

23 year old Tehseen Akhtar is a resident of Samastipur.

His full name is Mohd. Tehseen Akhtar.

His father’s name is Mohommad Waseem Akhtar and is a resident of Samastipur (R/o Maniarpur,PO-Muktapur, PS Kalyanpur, District- Samastipur, Bihar).

As per Rediff News:

27blast-patnaIntelligence Bureau hinted on Sunday that the Indian Mujahedeen was responsible for the eight explosions in Patna that claimed five lives ahead of Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s rally on Sunday.

“Initial investigation has suggested the involvement of the Indian Mujahideen in the serial blasts in Patna. The modus operandi and low intensity bomb blasts are similar to IM’s style,” an IB official told rediff.com, requesting anonymity.

The IB official said that the one man, who was arrested in connection with the attacks, confessed to the involvement of the IM. “More information will come out after the likely arrest of three or four suspects involved in the blasts,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Patna police has sounded high alert across the city. Four live bombs were recovered from different places in Patna, which were defused by security personnel.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj appealed to the people not to touch any suspicious objects and to keep away from crowded places.
